How do quotes work?
Start on our Start My Quote page. Share basic info, and we’ll call/text to confirm details. We may be able to provide a quick ballpark remotely, but most projects require a site visit for measurements and drainage checks. After that, you’ll get a clear, itemized proposal with good / better / best options.
Where do you work?
We serve Kansas City, KS & MO and surrounding suburbs within ~20–25 miles of downtown: Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Independence, Raytown, Grandview, Overland Park, Olathe, Leawood, Prairie Village, Liberty, Gladstone, and more.
What services do you offer?
We handle mowing, edging, and cleanup; seasonal maintenance plans; landscaping with mulch, rock, plants, edging; hardscaping such as patios, pavers, walls, steps; drainage including French drains, grading, downspout burial; outdoor living like screen rooms and pergolas; concrete and asphalt flatwork; water features; and snow & ice management for residential and commercial clients.
What payment options do you accept?
Cash, check, and all major credit/debit cards. Large projects are typically split into milestone payments (deposit, progress, final). Recurring services (like mowing) can be billed monthly. We also accept ACH transfers. Ask us about seasonal promotions or referral credits.
Do you warranty your work?
Yes. We provide a 1‑year workmanship warranty on installed projects (patios, drainage, structures, etc.). Materials are covered by manufacturer warranties where applicable (pavers, lighting, pergolas). Lawn care and seasonal services are not warrantied but we guarantee satisfaction—if something is missed, we’ll fix it promptly.
Are you insured?
Yes, SimpleProjectKC is fully insured for general liability and workers’ comp. Certificates are available upon request and included in commercial contracts.
Do you pull permits?
We coordinate permitting and inspections when required (structures, retaining walls, concrete, etc.). Permit fees and engineering costs are added to proposals when necessary.
How far out are you booked?
Mowing and small service work can usually start within 1–2 weeks during the season. Larger installs (patios, drainage, screen rooms) are scheduled on our production calendar, typically 3–6 weeks out depending on workload and weather.
What if weather delays the job?
Rain, snow, or extreme heat can cause delays. We monitor forecasts daily and will update you if schedules shift. Safety and quality come first—we don’t cut corners to rush a job in bad conditions.
How do you handle pets and property access?
Please secure pets before service. Make sure gates are unlocked. For narrow gates, we have smaller equipment, but let us know in advance so we send the right crew.
Do you offer commercial services?
Yes. We provide mowing, snow removal, landscape, and hardscape services for offices, HOAs, retail, and industrial sites. Commercial clients can receive seasonal contracts with service level agreements and 24/7 storm response.

How do I prepare for a project?
Clear personal items from work areas (furniture, toys, vehicles). Mark irrigation heads if possible, or let us know so we can flag them. For larger builds, expect some equipment staging in your drive or street during work hours.
